Hot Designs takes great care in selecting fabrics and we understand this selection process plays an important role in the performance of our clients.

The two main fabrics we use are Polyester Micromesh, Sorbtek, an American Fibre with an incredibly efficient catch, move, and release system that keeps you cool, dry and comfortable. This fabric is manufactured in a durable white polyester, perfect for dye sublimation printing for garments.

It is also manufactured in a beautifully finished black, perfect for bike and compression garments.

A further fabric is also manufactured similar to micromesh but with Sorbtek added for a smooth stretch finish suitable for firm fitting garments in a number of sporting areas.

Polyester Micromesh has a silky soft touch made from ultra fine filaments for superb handling. The special moisture management treatment will keep you dry, cool and comfortable. This fabric is of an airy double-sided mesh construction enabling it to breathe. It is durable and light with a high UV protection. It has a fast drying time frame, does not stretch or itch and is available sublimated or as a solid fabric colour.

Sorbtek is UPF 50+ and offers excellent sun protection. Hot Designs uses durable and excellent chlorine resistance Sorbtek that is of very high quality to meet your needs. Our Sorbtek can be sublimated or as a solid fabric colour.

Sorbtek Super Sheen is a new fabric developed for the cycling industry and is most suitable for those garments that should follow the contours of the body such as skin and speed suits for track cycling. It is also advantageous in the manufacture of tri suits as its silky sheen nature dissipates the water across the fabric whilst swimming.

Chamois

Hot Designs use the new platform of hi-tech stretch chamois inserts which has become the new standard for comfort and performance.

Specifications:

Multi-layered structure - developed with various densities of padding according to the particular pressure points of the body on the saddle for male and female.

High-density cells with elastic memory - materials are made of high density open cells, guaranteeing constant and maximum protection and pressure relief. Elastic one piece construction moves with your body for the ultimate in saddle comfort and performance.

Permanent antibacterial protection - the special structure of the fabric with silver ions threads prevents the forming of bacteria and creates a hostile environment without the use of additional chemical substances. The mircofibre permanent antibacterial protection won't wash off.

Seamless thermoshaping at the high frequency - avoiding uncomfortable seams in the most delicate pressure zones, our chamoises have a soft and smooth external facing. The wide elastic frame moves stitching away from delicate areas.

Anti-wrinkle system - the special anatomical conformation and the specific positioning of pressure release points prevent the forming of wrinkles and bunching of fabric.
